Entrepreneur’s Quest Part 6:  The Dog Days

September 25, 2009 | Entrepreneur's Quest | 1 Comment

Edition 6 of my quest is a compilation of golf rounds this Summer. It is definitely the "Dog Days" and the birdies are scarce. The frustration has built up with my golf game, but I will keep getting out there and trying to turn it around. No matter, at least the dogs are having fun. This video is from the first day we had Cousteau, a French Bulldog, home to meet our English Bulldog Beezus. They have become fast friends, but they sure can be distracting when they play in my office! Definitely not helping the quest! Nonetheless, it rolls on...

Pictures of Beezus and Cousteau here.

An Entrepreneur’s Quest Part 5

This is the fifth episode in my quest to build a golf brand, and to play 18 holes of golf under par. This edition is mostly a brand building journey, although we tried to mix in a little play as well. We played golf at Ballyowen Golf Club in New Jersey, an absolutely beautiful golf course. We spent an evening in NYC and then worked at the Birdies for Breast Cancer Charity Golf Classic at Liberty National Golf Club. Birdies for Breast Cancer is Cristie Kerr's foundation, she hosted the event and many of her fellow LPGA hotties turned up to support the cause. We enjoyed the sites at Ballyowen, in the Big Apple, and at Liberty National! Liberty National is hosting the Barclays in a couple of weeks, the first round of the PGA Tour Playoffs, The FedEx Cup. We had a great trip, enjoy the video. PS- Mikey, thanks for letting me win! Signed, PURE Grips Match Play Challenge Champion 2009 Wes Brasher

Entrepreneur’s Quest Part 4

This is the fourth installment in my quest to build a golf brand and play 18 holes under par. Unfortunately, the progress is slow, especially on the golf side. It takes a little travel, a lot of work, a little golf and a LOT of perseverance. The quest is ongoing, and each day I’ve got to pick myself up, dust myself off and keep up the hard work!

An Entrepreneur’s Quest to Build a Brand and Play 18 Holes Under Par - Part 3
Scramblaya!!
Definitely the season for lots of Corporate scrambles and Fund Raisers! Oh, what a rat race! Seriously, this is fun work if you can get it. It was definitely a good time, but not helpful in advancing in my quest, although I did get to tell lots of people about our grips! Hopefully swinging for the fences all the time has not screwed up my game too bad!

Another edition of my quest, I am hoping that this is one of few bumps in the road! No luck in the golf game, but business is good. It takes a lot of work to get a start-up off the ground, but every day we move the ball a little further down field. Can’t say the same for my golf game, unfortunately it seems to be stuck in a rut just short of my goal, and maybe going the wrong direction! Oh well, the sun is shining, the weather is sweet and I will keep on fighting!

This is the first installment of my video blog. I will be launching a new brand of golf grips, and playing a lot of golf. My goals are to get this new brand out to market and established, and also to play a 18 hole round of golf under par for the very first time in my life. Both of these goals will be difficult for me to achieve, but it will be a lot of fun trying!
